Canon SELPHY ES40 is Canon’s flagship SELPHY compact photo printer that is simple to use and delivers lab quality photos. Moreover, it stands out of the crowd of Canon photo printers as it spots voice guidance technology.
The DIGIC II processor allows for high-quality pictures using Auto Image Optimize technology for detecting and correcting any imperfections in your photos. The printer can automatically adjust face brightness and color, remove red-eye and reduce noise.
The ES40 uses an Easy Photo Pack, an all-in-one ink and paper cartridge that contains everything you need for printing.
The printer features a bright 3.5 inch 230K dot LCD screen, easy scroll wheel and tactile buttons for easy navigating through images before printing.
The ES40 assists you in the printing process with its Voice Guidance technology. It gives you various instructions like “select a color” or “select the area for printing” and informs you when the ink cartridge or paper needs replacing.
Approximately eight seconds after you turn the printer on it is ready to start printing. It prints quickly too and produces ‘P’ size prints in 55 seconds and ‘L’ size prints in just 47 seconds.
In Creative Print mode you can make use of 12 templates to create calendars with your own images, add stamps, speech bubbles or clip art to your photos, or put your images in artistic frames.
Creative Print also allows a number of sophisticated image effects to be applied to your prints, such as Smooth Skin and other filters such as faded edges, soft focus and star lights.
