HP introduces world’s first web-connected printer - HP Photosmart Premium all-in-one inkjet printer with its TouchSmart technology. It is designed to give people quick touchscreen access to popular Internet content.
This versatile printer is ideal for multitasking households - it prints, faxes, copies and scans and delivers lab-quality photos. It has a full range of wired and wireless connectivity options, and can print directly from Wi-Fi-enabled PCs, Bluetooth®-enabled devices, the Apple iPhone and the Apple iPod touch using HP iPrint Photo.
The HP Photosmart Premium features a new web-based printing platform with HP applications (apps) that allow people to connect instantly the necessary content - users can browse and view popular web destinations and print content they wish in an easy-to-read format.
Some apps are preloaded on the printer; some apps you can download as they become available at the HP Apps Studio. The first HP app partners will be USA TODAY, Google, Fandango, Coupons.com, DreamWorks Animation, Nickelodeon, Web Sudoku and Weathernews Inc. Through these apps, you will have free access to customized daily news, maps, coupons, coloring pages, movie tickets, recipes, personal calendars and more.
The new printer also will connect directly to your Snapfish account to view, print and upload photos. Additionally, you can access projects from the HP Creative Studio.
