Canon SELPHY ES40 Compact Photo Printer
Canon SELPHY ES40 is Canon’s flagship SELPHY compact photo printer that is simple to use and delivers lab quality photos. Moreover, it stands out of the crowd of Canon photo printers as it spots voice guidance technology.
The DIGIC II processor allows for high-quality pictures using Auto Image Optimize technology for detecting and correcting any imperfections in your photos. The printer can automatically adjust face brightness and color, remove red-eye and reduce noise.
The ES40 uses an Easy Photo Pack, an all-in-one ink and paper cartridge that contains everything you need for printing.
The printer features a bright 3.5 inch 230K dot LCD screen, easy scroll wheel and tactile buttons for easy navigating through images before printing.

CanonPIXMA iP4700 Intelligent Photo Priner
Canon introduces the CanonPIXMA iP4700 inkjet photo printer for home users and photographers with high requirements. It features photo quality and fast document printing alongside with some extras: it can print straight onto a DVD or make double-sided prints.
The printer houses five single ink tanks containing pigment black for text and dye-based cyan, magenta, yellow and photo black inks for color prints. Canon’s Full-photolithography Inkjet Nozzle Engineering technology allows for print resolutions of up to 9600×2400 dpi.
The PIXMA iP4700 incorporates a fast print engine. Its print speed is 9.2ipm for mono documents and 8.1ipm for color. And a 10×15cm (4×6”) photo is produced in approximately 20 seconds.
There are two paper trays – a rear tray and a cassette – in the iP4700, so it’s easy to make double-sided prints as different media can be loaded at the same time. Two-sided printing is available for plain paper in A4, B5, A5 & Letter.
Among other Canon printers the Pixma iP4700 is renowned for being “intelligent.” Intelligent image correction is possible with Auto Photo Fix II that analyses images and corrects their color, contrast and brightness detail in under-exposed zones and also features automatic red-eye reduction. Easy-WebPrint EX Software is responsible for smart and simple webpage clipping.
The Canon PIXMA iP4700 is inished in smart gloss black with gunmetal highlights and is available from late September 2009.

Canon PIXMA Pro 9000 Mark II
In March there appeared two new Canon printers - the Pro9000 Mark II and the Pro9500 Mark II, about which we talked earlier. And now let’s look at the Pro 9000Mark II.
The Canon Pro9000 Mark II has 8-ink system in comparison with the Pro Mark II’s 10 inks and ships with eight inks: Black, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Photo Cyan, Photo Magenta, Red and Green. The system uses individual cartridges for each color.
The Pro Mark II can print High Resolution images (4800×2400 dpi) quite fast. It has the big print head that is responsible for its high print speed and prints approximately three times faster than its predecessor, the Pro9000.
Some of its features also deserve attention, for instance, its Ambient Light Correction according to which color output can be adjusted for viewing under a variety of lighting conditions. But the thing is that this option is available under Windows Vista only.
The Pro 9000 Mark II cares about what you print. It has an Auto Photo Fix function to optimize images as portrait, scenery, night scenery, snapshot with scenery or snapshot with night scenery. Backlit underexposed faces are brightened and color casts are removed.
This printer is environment-friendly: it uses Canon Generation Green Technology which helps you to reduce and recycle waste and save energy.

Canon Pixma Pro9500 Mark II
The Canon Pixma Pro9500 Mark II is a wide-format photo inkjet priter designed for working photographers, graphics pros, and serious hobbyists. It features a ten-tank pigment ink system, borderless printing up to 13×19, and Canon’s Ambient Light Correction system.
The device utilizes two trays: a multi-sheet feeder in the back, and a single-sheet feed integrated into the output tray on the front of the device. Both trays can accommodate paper up to 13×19 (A3+), allowing you to make photo and other fine-art prints on a variety of media.
It’s also worth noting that the Pro9500 can print bordered or borderless prints at sizes all the way down to 4×6. So, you could even use the Pro9500 to print home/home office documents if you wanted to – it certainly has the flexibility. But the ink and the device are expensive.
Buttons and controls on the printer itself are minimal at most as the majority of the Pro9500’s functions are handled via Canon’s supplied software So, the Pro9500’s spare, simple, and easy-to-connect approach is standard for this class of machines.
